Last month I had my 30th Birthday and to celebrate, 60 of my closest friends and family gathered for an intimate dinner at the Atrium within that culinary mecca, The Grounds of Alexandria.

My friend, event planner Georgie Duddy After the Rock organised the whole night and every detail – from the decorations, table settings to the menus – was everything I could have wanted, and more. The white chocolate cake from Sweet Art was soon just a delicious memory.

It was also a very special night for my husband, Luke, and me: we announced to our family and friends that we’re expecting our first child.
