Rachel Macy, Ceandra Faria and Gilles Estrade at the Christine Hingston opening

Artist Christine Hingston’s new exhibition, The Swahili Coast, opened at Gallows Gallery in Glyde Street, Mosman Park. African musicians regaled the crowd, including Premier Colin Barnett and honorary South African consul Bill Peppard, with pulsating rhythms while Christine spoke warmly of her travels through Africa. Her husband Tim’s photos of their adventures were also on display.
