After 25 years of marriage Marcos (Ricardo Darin, Truman) and Ana (Mercedes Moran, Neruda) are left with an “empty nest” when their son leaves home to study in Spain.

Marcos is a teacher and Ana works in a marketing company.

It seems to be a time when they can begin to enjoy having more time together, but their feelings change and they decide to part and explore the world of the newly-single, which brings unexpected results.

The film questions love, desire, and the passage of time.

Ricardo Darin is considered one of the best and most prolific Argentinian actors and Mercedes Moran has won several awards for her acting.

Their chemistry is good, but the film is slow to start and at 136 minutes it could have done with some cutting in the earlier scenes. It gathers pace about half way through.

This perceptive comedy/romance from Argentina was co-written by Daniel Cuparo and its first-time director Juan Vera.
